Welcome to IVP! The International Volunteer Program (IVP) is a non-profit organization that promotes volunteerism in Europe, the United States and Latin America. Our volunteer programs are designed to facilitate hands-on service and international exchange opportunities, with the aim of fostering cultural understanding at the local and global levels. IVP volunteers participate in meaningful and rewarding service assignments and learn new skills within a context of diverse histories, customs, and often new languages! At a time when the understanding of global issues is critical, IVP volunteers have the opportunity to deepen their inter-cultural awareness through full-time service in overseas non-profit organizations. IVP host organizations benefit from the dedicated work of our volunteers by receiving much needed administrative, technical, and developmental support. Our volunteers offer not only a strong commitment to service but also bring their unique personal backgrounds and invaluable professional skills to their assignments.
