International Volunteer Program

To Volunteer in Europe (departure from
San Francisco or New York)
The program is open to volunteers 18-years old and older. It lasts six weeks during the summer and includes a six-week work assignment at a non-for-profit organization. Room and board are provided during the six weeks.

Current program locations are the United Kingdom and France. The French program requires an intermediate level of French.

Volunteer Placements
Participants will work in their placements for six weeks (eight hours per day, 5 days per week). Tasks include office work; hospital assistance; work in tourism offices; and work with children, the elderly, or people with disabilities, among others.

The International Volunteer Program works to identify assignments that utilize individuals' personal and professional goals. However, as placements are limited and are assigned in a first-come-first-place basis, volunteers must be open to any assignment.
